In order to celebrate the launch of their new campaign - Sip Your Sunshine - Tropicana & Mullenlowe approached us to create an event that plays off of the Manhattanhenge phenomenon. In working with the city, we were able to permit half a block across the street from the New York Public Library in order to bring visitors a 2-story dining experience where they could watch the sunrise from an unobstructed vantage-point.
Constructed from shipping containers, the diner contained a back-lit living wall, a 2nd wall of real oranges, a serving window, and plenty of table-space to enjoy their meals. Being the middle of winter, we also made sure to include built-in heaters and lots of winter swag so that guests did not freeze as much as we did during install.
We also worked with Mullenlowe to determine when the sun would be at the right height for celebrity guest Ellie Kemper hold up a Tropicana bottle and give the illusion of the sun rising out of the juice. Guests were encouraged to do the same and tag Tropicana. Hosting influencers, media, VIP guests, and members of the Tropicana team, we then served breakfast sandwiches and Tropicana Premium OJ to bring sunshine to commuters morning.

WorldPride is the ultimate celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community, their friends, families, and allies. Target wanted to engage the communities in their hometown of Minneapolis as well as the larger World Pride in NYC. In developing their presence at Pride, we set out to spark an emotional connection through the use of strong social engagements. Working with Target’s campaign direction for Pride 2019, we focused in on the concepts of chosen family, building community, and the personal journey to Pride.
In a colorful and welcoming environment, we created a memorable destination for Pride attendees that was undeniably Target. We developed a number of varied yet cohesive interactive moments, all designed to be eye-catching, organically engaging, super shareable, and totally Target. These included a Funfetti (Confetti) Booth, Proud Reflection Wall that encouraged self-love, Dip N/ Dye Tunnel where one could tie-die their arms, Target Rest Stop, and their iconic #TAKEPRIDE Letters.
For the 2nd year in a row, we also collaborated with GLSEN & DapperQ to promote positivity in LGBTQIA+ youth. During the DapperQ fashion show, models walked the runway wearing their Target sourced looks showing off their Pride style. At the GLSEN Share Your Pride Wall, guests were encouraged to send an encouraging letter to a loved one using our custom postcards and preferred pronoun pencils. They could then take a picture with a tag line composed of pencils.

Every year Dove Men+Care sponsors the Dad 2.0 Summit, a counterpart to the Mom 2.0 Summit that celebrates dads in the industry.
Dove asked us to bring back the popular annual Barbershop activation, while also highlighting the importance of paternity leave. To do this we created a multidimensional infographic wall that encouraged men to take the pledge for paternity leave. Pins and signage boards were provided so they could proudly display who they were pledging for in the photobooth.
The barbershop touched upon Dove’s roots containing a lit barber pole, vintage inspired furniture, and a classic tile floor. Adjacent to this was a knolling wall that featured all shoppable product. In keeping with the theme, the lounge area in between included custom Dove Men+Care chess games.
In the last round of design, Baby Dove asked that we also feature their new Calming Nights collection, so we created a cozy nighttime routine display inclusive of lounge furniture and a bathtub filled with white rubber duckies & product. We also provided free 15 minute massages as a thank you to the all that dads do.

It goes without saying that the best part of the holidays (aside from all the presents) are the beautiful decorations and visuals. For 2 years in a row we reimagined everyday holiday hallmarks - garland, lights, ornaments, etc. - to create a series of whimsical backdrops for Target’s different product categories.
In 2018 we developed the theme Gather Round, by creating an immersive experience that featured moments for every Target category, showcasing Target as a one-stop-shop. Key moments included a living room scene in the Home Goods section, a larger-than-life advent calendar in the Toys section, a present-box tree and mannequin gift boxes.
In 2019 we leaned into the idea of Thinking of You and everyone on your list. We immersed our press guests into the energy and excitement of holiday shopping with clever nods to gifting that tied directly to Target’s 2019 in-store marketing. This was brought to life through the use of large-scale present boxes, balloon ornaments, oversized bows and Target the dog himself. Bonus elements included a an interactive wall featuring Target’s Fulfillment services, and a Disney x Target shop-in-shop experience.

For the launch of Target’s activewear & sporting goods brand line - All in Motion - we created a fitness event for media, and their guests with a selection of family-friendly fitness classes. The media event featured 2 after-work fitness classes to inspire body positivity and movement while allowing guests to try on the new collection that was gifted to them.
Playing off the brightness of the collection, the color-blocked vignettes allowed the collection pieces to pop within the space. The custom-colored racks and nesting tables were used for propping clothing and sporting goods. The peg walls, inspired by the campaign imagery, created texture and a fun backdrop for mannequin looks within each product story.
We also created several fun photo-worthy moments for guests to capture the event and share on social media; the most popular being the blue monochromatic weight lifting wall, complete with branding and faux brick.

For the 9th year in a row, MediaLink partnered with CES, so we set out to bring to life a fresh take on on their CES conference rooms, Sky Suites, and official kick-off party. We repurposed many of MediaLink’s existing assets, provided light refreshes to furniture and decor, and enriched the space through innovative approaches to spatial dividers, branding and signage.
At the start of the tradeshow MediaLink hosted their annual Kick-Off Party which was held at XS at the Encore, and attended by C-suite executives. We developed festivities including a pressure sensitive LED dance floor, gold mirror dancer pole covers, and VIP tables with custom designed premiums for clients to enjoy.
In the larger conference rooms, guests were able to enjoy a multitude of meeting spaces, refueling opportunities (for both food & phones), as well as floor to ceiling window views. IBM Watson Advertising bought-out one room that we tranformed into a meeting hub with various branded spaces for meetings, and a revitalizing juice bar. Another was partially taken over by Edge to create a branded welcome area and private meeting areas. The remainder of the room utilized custom cardboard walls to create semi-private meeting spaces. Finally, the Sky Suites were dedicated to MediaLink’s top executives to host private meetings throughout the week with their C-Suite clients.

With beautiful garments, fuzzy slippers to wear while you try everything on, and plenty of prosecco, the MM.Lafleur Chicago showroom is an Out of Office Oasis. Opened on December 1st, 2017, it is the company’s biggest showroom.
Customers are encouraged to lounge at the large bar or in the cozy library while they wait for their appointment. 2 vanity tables and a tailor are available for those women that have to be on their A-game for a board meeting or event. Down-lit clothing and accessory displays shine bright as you make your way to the dressing rooms. Finally, 7 large dressing rooms allow for a comfortable personal styling appointment.
This showroom focused on consolidating the MM experience. White oak herringbone wood and Calcutta Tucci marble are carried throughout the space, accompanied by hints of black painted wood, and brushed brass to soften the environment. Cream and a custom MM pink are used throughout most of the custom furniture, while the signature green couch adds that pop of color to complete the space.

MM.Lafleur’s 2nd ever showroom, and my first project after joining the team. This showroom was the beginning of refining our physical brand identity.
I began by creating a Visual Standards guideline for the company, which became the basis for our re-design. Elements of the original SoHo showroom are still present in the space, along with a more refined finish. This showroom continues to be the company’s highest performing location.

With it’s first showroom in SoHo opening 3 years ago, it was only a matter of time before MM opened up a second location in their home-base. Originally existing as a long-term pop up, the showroom opened on March 2018, 2018.
Carrying over many of the same elements as Chicago, Bryant Park will include 2 vanities, a large bar and library, and 7 oversized dressing rooms. A mannequin display features MM’s suggestion for a Monday-Friday wardrobe. VIP customers are treated to their own section within the showroom, complete with floor to ceiling cast iron and glass sliding doors.
The pop up - presently standing - includes many of the same elements, but uses temporary structures. Most notably, we designed and built 60x60” dressing rooms that provide customers with ample space. To complete the space, our custom wood stumps are scattered throughout dressing rooms and windows.
